After a detailed, and extremely inspiring and energising meeting with Alex and his brilliant team, they designed and built Martin Coates Garden Studio (MCGS) a great new website that hit all of the targets we wanted to achieve (and more!). As a start-up, I really needed them to listen carefully to the vision and ethos behind the MCGS, and more importantly the nitty gritty of what our customers want. That was exactly the experience I had, and continue to have, with the SEO Works team. Stage two and beyond for me is seeing the ongoing positive impact of their precisely curated and executed marketing campaigns across organic SEO and Paid Search, which has already delivered significant numbers of leads and enquiries to the business consistently. Grossly oversold and excessively under delivered. Poor customer service, Quality of work dubious, added no value to our business at all, with ever decreasing sales due to very poor efforts and questionable expertise. One of the Biggest Mistakes we ever made using SEO Works. we should have looked at google reviews before committing. They promise to achieve real results, they did, but they are POOR-ONES. They talk about delivering tangible business benefits, albeit they DO-NOT, they talk about increasing leads, but in our case they dropped. They were an absolute disaster, they advertised PPC on products and services we did not deliver, therefore wasting our advertising budgets. They pushed campaigns suggested by Google ,which we could have done, resulting in wasted money, Feather Flags Express Review I absolutely agree; Telephone Communication was terrible, account managers do not pick-up on direct dial, it always goes to voice-mail, if you select the reception option, it rings for a while then goes to voice-mail. Never not once did I ever get through by telephone, always waiting for a call following my request by email. That said, sending emails, you WAITE, sometimes days if the account manager is having time off, no one picks-up, they do not tell you that no one running your account. Progress Meetings booked weeks in advance cancelled by email hours before the agreed meeting time, offering lame and insulting excuses, they offered a revised meeting a week away, disgusting. They sat in a zoom meeting telling how it was going, I was astonished when they said they did not know what to do to increase sales leads. Here is one for you, they reduced the daily spend rate against the budget, then tried to say they had reduced the advertising cost, suggesting they had made an improvement. The sales went down month by month while they tried various campaigns on PPC to give us the promised Return on Investment (ROI), but they continued to fail miserably. We got to a point of having to suspend their access to our Google account and remove them completely. We modified the campaigns, changed keyword searches and immediate noticed an increase in sales. We got an email from one of their directors quoting our contract and certain clause numbers to be worried about, then telling us our options, what a joke, it was clear he had looked at a different contract to the one we signed so we ignored him. Then they offered a reduction in the purported outstanding contract value if we agreed and signed a non-disclosure agreement promising not to write negative reviews, clearly, We do not take it and paid my monies according to agreement. We will not be bullied or threatened and still get emails asking to sign an exit agreement, yet I’m paid up and have no contractual agreement to answer.
I used SEO Works to help improve the rankings for the website for my business and saw positive results within a few months. I particularly liked the seo strategy and direction provided.
