I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt this experience warranted honest feedback. Over the course of three separate days, I contacted Gorilla three times because I was genuinely interested in becoming a client and wanted to discuss my company’s requirements. On each occasion, I was assured by the virtual receptionist that my details would be passed to the new business team and that someone would contact me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, despite these assurances, I never received a single callback. As a prospective client, this left me feeling completely overlooked. No one took the time to understand my business, my objectives, or whether Gorilla could help us. The lack of communication was disappointing, particularly as this was an inbound sales enquiry—arguably one of the most valuable opportunities any business can receive. A potential customer had already made the decision to reach out, yet there was no follow-up whatsoever. Eventually, I received a WhatsApp message stating that Gorilla was at full capacity and was not taking on any new clients. I completely respect that every business has capacity limits, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with being fully booked. However, if that is the case, the communication process needs to reflect it. Waiting several days with no response before sending a brief message suggests there may be a disconnect between the front-end enquiry process and the company’s operational capacity. This review is not about Gorilla being unable to take us on as a client. It’s about the customer experience. A simple phone call or honest conversation after my first enquiry would have set expectations, demonstrated professionalism, and left me with a positive impression—even if the answer was ultimately “no.” Communication is one of the simplest yet most important aspects of running a successful business. Sadly, my experience fell well below the standard I expected from a company whose expertise is built around helping businesses grow. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as improving this part of the customer journey would undoubtedly enhance the experience for future prospective clients.

Having sourced them from a Google Search, Gorilla stepped in on the back of an Emergency Call to their Founder, Kyle...and I cannot praise them enough for the way that they immediately came to my business's rescue.
